wow, I was told that eyes get very dry after Lasik, but not this much. I have to put drops in my eyes few times a day. Yesterday I made Msakhan. I was cutting all that onion, ok only four onions, it is just for the two of us, the kids eat hummous sandwiches, and although my eyes wanted to cry and got painful, but no tears came out! I HAVE NO TEARS!!!! Now when my husband upsets me, how is he supposed to know I am sad???!!!! NO tears mean no guilt trips!! o MAN, I want my tears back....

You lost your super weapon!! OH MY GOD!... get it back.. FAST!! Drink a lot of water ... do something ... anything .. You don't want to be caught with no tears!

Kayan, i do not really use tears on my husband, he knows me too well now....after 10yrs together he'd better!:)

qwaider, i was told it takes about a year to get my tears back...one year without tears...but really it hurts the eyes without the tears when your eyes cry! no more onions for us, or my husband has to do the dirty onion work!:)

But I am rethinking the Lazik now. No tears for a year? That has got to be not healthy.
maybe that kinda of onions are "TEARLESS"...you know they make all kindz of strange stuff now adays :-)
abu_shakuush, no it is my eyes they are so dry...it is like a desert in there!!:( lets not blame the onions...but it is worth it to see without glasses and contacts so ya 7aki fadi do not rethink it...u will just have to put drops in your eyes few times a day:)

Keep dropping your eyes, I remember a friend of mine had major problems because she thought it's not very important to drop them! salamtek :)

Excuse me now I have to go take my wife to do a lasik surgery. ;-)
who's-sane who would of thought eh?? but it is not long term, only last for few months...:)
