what a beautiful sight!

Spring is almost here! The snow is melting! I have dreamt about this, if the weather stays this nice, all the snow will be gone in few weeks. I love spring! The smell of flowers, birds chirping. I cannot wait.

Once the snow is all gone, and the weather is nicer, we plan on driving from Saskatoon to Vancouver. We have wanted to drive to Vancouver for so long now. When we got married every year we say we want to drive from Toronto to Vancouver, but it is a long drive. And we end up spending our vacation in the Middle East or the Caribbean.

The drive does not really get nice until you are almost out of Alberta, sure northern Ontario is very nice, but the prairies are just too boring! So this is even better. Since we have been living out west, we have made it to the Rockies three times, driving from Edmonton to Jasper, to lake Louis, to Banff, Calgary and back to Edmonton. The mountains are amazing! I have been to the mountains in Colorado and Montana, but I have to say they are a lot nicer in Alberta and British Columbia. I am looking forward to our trip. The mountains are awesome, the air is so fresh, and the scenery along the way is amazing! I just hope we do not run into any grumpy old bears along the way. When we went in the summer the year before we ran into a cute baby black bear. Everyone stopped on the road to watch him, the poor little thing; we probably scared the hell out of him, I’m glad his mom was nowhere in sight:)





I wish my sister and her husband will be able to join us. We will be meeting friends in Calgary, and together we will drive to Vancouver through the mountains. I wish I had pictures to share, but I lost the entire picture file on my computer few months ago, and all of my hard copies are at my house in Ontario now. Besides I still do not know how to post a picture, how pathetic eh?
