The Palestinian ministry of education has banned this book from schools. Why now? it has been in print for a long time, I want to say 1986, but I am not sure.

It sounds interesting. I love stories about Palestine. This is why I love Ghassan Kanafani books. I just ordered it from Amazon; I cannot wait to read it now:)
Ok so reading the article in English I see what all the fuss is about, in Arabic they only said that the book yekhdosh el7ya'a, I was not sure what that meant. But still, some people just go overboard.
I'll tell you all about it when I get my copy in few weeks, damn customs
