Eggs

I wonder how long it will take my kids to get sick of eggs... if I see one more egg I am going to jump off the balcony....ok maybe not..but sheesh!

I made yummy pasta, which they love, they had a bit and then they wanted to eat beeda...

I made batata and beed... (Potatoes and eggs) ...they each had one bite and they asked for plain beeda..

I made spicy rice with meat today and it was delish, but after eating just a bit, they asked me to make them beeda...

I do not know why I galeb 7ali! They want eggs for breakfast, lunch and dinner. So from now on, I will not cook anything except for eggs! In a bit my kids will turn in chickens!

The other thing they can not have enough of, is labnah

I so love having the 7ares around. When we are out of eggs and labnah, I call him and he goes to buy us more. And today I found out that the store close by delivers, how cool is that! A girl could get used to this, what am I going to do when I go back to Canada? Hubby complains whenever I call him from work to buy me things, and the grocery store is on his way home, ya3ni what is the big deal??

Speaking of my kids, Ziad is starting to speak some Arabic. He sounds so cute saying them. Now when he wants juice he says ana badi ashrab aseer...

well i guess u need to work on this , its not healthy for them to keep eat egg and lanabeh that much , what if u say there's no beeda or lanabneh more ? what they do ?

LOOOL another thing the Egg price go Up like 40% , and Labaneh like 35% too

so its now more expensive

cool that Zaid start Arabic :)

This is funny..hehe..
U know, for yr kids, routinely eating eggs is no problem as long as you watch the rest of their diet! Increase fiber in their food and it'll be ok,,,one day they'll get bored of eggs, especially when you use different methods cooking them every single time! ;)

on the other hand,It's good to know you are getting used to living in Amman! best wishes Sam:D

LOL! i was heik kaman when i was a kid :p...the beida was essential for dinner! ya3ni no matter where we go and what we eat when i'm back home and mom wants to put me in bed i tell her bas ma akalet my beida! and now i eat eggs like once a month and sometimes even more! (so don't worry they'll get over it)

i think little zouzu is sounding so cute with his arabic mtabash..my jedo used to call my cousin who's raised in the UK..Artin..as he used to speak arabic mitel el armaan! poor little Rami :p :D

One thing I love when hubby is traveling, ma fi tabiikh! The kids would eat eggs for supper every day.

Mabruuk Zeid!! One of your goals here is accomplished! Hubby will rejoice!
